Awaiting the Hokage

Kiyo sat patiently in the waiting room of the hokage's office for his sensei to be finished with his work. Today they would be training. Kiyo was excited because Naraku sensei promised him that he was going to teach him something worth while today.

Upon waiting, Kiyo took out a kunai and began to spin it on his finger. Anyone that knew him could tell that he only did this before training or fighting.

Learning something new wasn't the only reason why Kiyo couldn't wait for training to start. Kiyo had the need to get strong fast. He had a feeling that there was something coming that he needed to prepare for. And thanks to his sensei, when it came, he would be ready.

I slightly move my eyes seen a figure in front of me I close the book I was holding in my hand a book composed of famous quotes some by me others by authors. I had no choice but to welcome my student to my office, as the boy walks inside I could not bestow seen the sharp weapon on his hand, I begin to plot the weapon been stab inside his own flesh some minor memories of the early ages of wars, I rose my voice and told him; Put that away is not needed at the time, not wanting to depress the boy I told him; you know what I’m teaching you today? I said as I throw a scroll for him to catch.

I want you to tell me what comes to mind after you open the scroll, the scroll is white is blank the paper reflects your face your eyes capture the image what do you see why is the scroll I gave you so important if it has no words is only a simple reflection of your own image.

Kiyo quickly put away the kunai as he was told and looked up in time to catch a scroll that was thrown at him. He opened it up and raised an eyebrow at its contents. He was confused as he looked at the blank scroll. Instead of looking at writing, he only saw himself in the paper. "When I look at this, all I think of is me," he said.

Trying to think harder because he knew that there was a deeper meaning, he stared at the scroll. "It is important because...it is a reflection of me. I see no words but I do see a shinobi of Konoha. It shows me someone who will fight for thier village no matter what and that is important."

Kiyo wa sure that that was not why he was given the scroll but he just said the first thing that came to his mind like he was asked. He looked up from the scroll at his sensei awaiting a response.

The boy shower in sorrow thinking his answer was wrong in addition he even gave up thinking it was wrong but indeed he was wrong to think otherwise, his answer was correct his expressions where not those from a leaf ninja.

Not trying to show regrets towards the boys training I told him; what’s the worry? After all you’re the first to ever get the question correctly trying to open my mouth wide enough to show a big smile and at the same time I told him; What comes to mind when you think of training give me something an element a technique something !

Kiyo looked up at his sensei as he spoke. And through his words, Kiyo felt the positive energy flow from him. He then realized one of the many reasons why he was the hokage.

Taking the writing utensil from him, Kiyo sat down and began to scribble his thoughts.

I am Kiyo Uchiha, genin of Konohagakure and proud member of the Uchiha clan. My dream is to change the world for the better, to bring forth peace to the shinobi world one step at a time. Comparing myself to Naraku Uchiha is simple. He is he hope of the village, the one who is protecting my home. I am just a small fish in a pond, hoping to one day be able to do as he does. My dream is true and I will stop at nothing to achieve it. As for techniques, I honestly don't have a preference. I am currently skilled in fire jutsu but being an Uchiha I hope to be very diverse with my knowledge. I wish to know something that has the destructive power to defeat my enemies, but I also want something with the defensive power to save my friends. That is what I am about.

Placing the pen down, Kiyo gave Naraku the paper.
