| :: Basic Information :: Name: Miyuki "Tifa" Shinoku -- Nicknames: Tif, Primrose (only by Rika) Gender: Female Age 14 Zodiac Sign: Virgo Birth Date: September 15th Blood Type: AB Weight: 102 lbs Height: 5'2 Rank: Genin Village: Kirigakure :: Character Looks and Personality :: Appearance:- Spoiler:
A beautiful yet poisonous flower some say about her. Tifa's appearance is utterly breath-taking; screaming the words flawless. Deadly or, innocent? To whom no one knows, or dares to find out. The daughter of a goddess? No, there was no such thing. A curse? Perhaps indeed. Only being thirteen, she's already hit maturity, her looks developing much quicker than most girls her age (whom some still have round faces and a childish look dwelled upon them). The kunoichi's bone structure is aligned perfectly down to every detail, and her irises aren't just one color, but many. They combust deeply with an attractive brightness, variations of blues engulfing them; widely ranging from fierce light blues to dark blues. However blue was not the colour, yet was the foundation for her eyes, which perhaps held just every tone of that very colour. Her eye lashes are dark, drawing emphasis to the mesmerizing eyes she wields, the eyes of her mother. The bizarre girl has the soft lips of marble—giving her look of a glass doll due to the pale color they are naturally. Tifa's body is feminine—with the hourglass shape, toned long legs—however did little justice to the flawless face, as she was just like any other kunoichi. Fairly tall and strong looking, but hardly yet defined as a woman, still clinging to her teenage body. Delicate and frail looking, she holds the word fragile. With her ethereal self, it is almost as though she could be a puppet with how flawless she looks; everything about her screaming the words embodied perfection. But truth is, nothing is perfect; in fact, she rather suits imperfection over perfection. Who said you had to look like a monster to be one? Attire:- Spoiler:
.: Daily Attire :.
An outfit she is seen in most of the times, Tifa wears a decent length short, creamy-white corset dress that hugs her body perfectly. Barely any skin is shown among her legs due to wearing pitch black thigh high socks. Tifa then wears ash-gray ninja boots that go two inches past her ankles. You'll notice how she is always wearing a black choker around her neck, and on her right ring finger she is always wearing a white ring that has forest green rose-stems swirling along the middle of it, cream colored roses popping out from the stems. It's more of a crucifix yet girly style, an outfit you wouldnt see much in the ninja world, you could say. Tifa likes to stand out and allow others to view her taste that speaks her personality. If you manage to look close enough, you will be able to notice how she has creamy-white rosebud earrings that dangle upon a thin chain. These earrings are usually hidden due to her light blonde hair; the unknown reason to why she is infatuated to these white roses is the reason why she earned her nickname around the village, Kirigakure's Water Primrose, since a primrose is the start of a rose.
.: Home Attire :.
When Tifa is at home, she is hidden from the world; locked away from the naked eye. Living alone (besides with Rika) allows her to dress freely, and with what she wears is something you wouldn't have thought if you had seen her. Perhaps she carries a crucifix yet girly appeal to her in the open, but when alone, she is just a normal kunoichi wearing a silk kimono. This silky kimono is painted with white silk, the black cuffs always rolled up to her shoulders and tied together with a blue ribbon. The print upon the silk contains of swirling flowers and spirals, contrasting greatly with the white beneath it. Not a long kimono, but a short yet modest one. In public her waist long hair is always down, but when she slips into the kimono, she ties her hair back into a pony tail with a blue ribbon similar to the ones that hold her sleeves upon her shoulders, the blue matching her bizarre eyes. Personality:- Spoiler:
Just as much as she looks like a doll, she also portrays the silence of a doll, one who doesn't speak, and rarely smiles. Mute—the main core of what she blossoms to be. Not a word has been heard from her; for, some say she doesn't have a voice box to produce a word or sound. Mysterious like the bizarre, colored eyes she wields, for— one who doesn't speak— she tends to make the public eye irritated due to curiosity of what she is like. Though, Tifa never allows a soul to enter. To get to know her would be beyond insanity. Letting someone be a part of you, and giving your trust to another is a sun in her eyes. Never once had she had a friend. As a child, she avoided kids at the academy, and sat alone somewhere to study; she did not want to waste time dilly dallying like the others, because she found studies more important than socialism. Perhaps she had a heart, and a sweet smile at one time—but those things were taken away from her. This young, sallow girl is very prim and proper though, surprisingly, when you would think she'd be a bleak, lazy type. The kunoichi mostly radiates with a mellow vibe and much patience, but she does have her moments when she can have a short temper with her emotions to flicker across her face. This causes her empty mask to become artistic, and make her seem more human when she shows somewhat of a facial expression, or simple emotion. Tifa rarely—if ever—allows her personal feelings about anyone or anything to interfere with whatever, keeping everything bottled up inside and acting as if she were okay; just to play her cards against the other players whom hide behind a mask such as her own.
Ah, yes—beauty may be something that she is known for, but men, don't be imbeciles. Innocent she may look, weak as well, but never judge a book by its bittersweet cover. When it comes to fighting, Tifa doesn't like to screw around, depending on the situation. Even when death is awaiting, she is radiating calmness instead of fear or nervousness. Tifa has an interest in picking at her opponent gradually piece by piece, figuring out their weaknesses and using it against them if given the chance. Due to her magnificent skill of memorization and analyzation, she can pick up superbly quickly. By analyzing the smallest actions her opponent makes, such as a flick of the wrist or tension of a muscle, she can gather their use of strategies just by that quick recon, and easily turn their own strategies against themselves. Losing. Boy oh boy, does she have a huge fear of losing. Tifa will not give up until she wins, and always finishes what she has started. Sometimes, she prefers to work alone, but when she does have a partner to work with in battle, she only cares about them; even if it may not seem like so; making them come first before her. Irrevocably, she is willing to protect them in battle even if it means sacrificing her own life for them, because all in all, that's what fair partners are for. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.). D Ranked Name: Twirling Sparks Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Element: Raiton Range: Long Clan: N/A Description: Tifa takes out shruikens with her electricity-covered hands, the electricity transferring onto the shruikens, and sends them at the opponent. This allows the opponent to be distracted with the weapons being sent towards them, allowing her to appear before them and uppercut them under their chin. In some cases, a few shruikens get lodged into the opponent and are shocked by the electricity. Name: Raiton Enhancement Technique Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Element: Raiton Range: N/A Clan: N/A Description: This is a technique where the Tifa focuses raiton into her hands and feet using precise chakra control, and releases it with pinpoint timing, which greatly enhances her taijutsu abilities to deal more damage. This technique had been created far back in Rika's family roots, soon carrying it on to Tifa to allow her strength to be stronger with the companion of lightning. Name: Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Element: Non-elemental Range: N/A Clan: N/A Description: A jutsu that destroys/cancels out an illusionary jutsu attempted on the user. Only Shinobi with strong chakra control can perform. The user releases a large amount of chakra then quickly haults it. The Genjutsu is usualy dispelled after that, depending on how strong the skill is. Name: Cold Wave Skill Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu/Medical Element: Non-elemental Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: A jutsu that is pretty much the opposite of heat seeker, this one instead of treating a state of hypothermia, which is heat loss, is treating a state of heat wave where the body overheats. By using chakra, the cold fusion jutsu opens up pores, pumps up blood to the skin and widens the blood vessels nearest to the skin and also increases sweat production. All these effects cool the body and make it return to normal temperatures, although careless use of the cold fusion might lead to an undesired effect such as over cooling of the body and eventually hypothermia. Name: Heat Seeker Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu/Medical Element: Non-elemental Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: A simple jutsu in which Tifa focuses the chakra in her body by placing it along the person's chest creating heat within them. It basically works the way one would if they were doing a destructive fire jutsu; heat-based is created from the hand, though much, much less than if it were indeed a destructive ninjutsu.(That's why you have to be careful-the user has to create just the right amount. Any less would be ineffective, any more would be too much.) Name: Bandage Skill Technique Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu/Medical Element: Non-elemental Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: A technique Tifa uses often. This is a special type of technique in which Tifa is capable of making bandages by using her surroundings such as sand, grass water and others with the help of using chakra. Name: Stitching Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Element: Non-elemental Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: Tifa is able to sew closed open wounds using a needle and surgical thread. While most any shinobi might figure out how to sew a wound shut, this stitching art allows for proper, thorough stitches to be made in 2-7 seconds. Name: Bone Setting Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Element: Non-elemental Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: This skills is limited as it is a physical repair, and is most effective on large bones such as leg or arm bones. This skill cannot treat fractures, and further treatment should be done. This is simply a quick fix to prevent further damage. Name: Chakra Gathering Technique Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Element: Non-elemental Range: Short Clan: N/a Description: This Jutsu allows the user to recover Chakra, boosting in for another Jutsu. This is done by transforming Stamina into Chakra, a trade between both things. Name: Shinoku Match Fist Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Element: Non-elemental Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: Tifa sends a series of rapid punches launched at the opponent, giving the impression of multiple fists at once. C Ranked: Name: Wild Thunder Dance Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Element: Non-elemental Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: As oppose to a simple taijutsu move, she kicks it up a notch by adding enhanced chakra to it; Tifa swirls and dances around her opponent in a quick fashion—almost in a way of teasing them. She then appears beside them and punches them, and as the fall back she swirls around to their backside and hits them again. This may continue for awhile unless the opponent finds a way how to block or dodge it. Name: Healing Hands Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu/Medical Element: Non-elemental Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: A Ninjutsu technique where Tifa can focus chakra into the palms of her hands, creating a small ball of healing chakra. This chakra, when concentrated, can repair physical damage to another person. Depending on the degree of the wound, Tifa must concentrate more of her chakra to repair the damage. However, if the wound is too extensive, such as extensive damage to vital organs, this technique may not be able to help them. Name: Cauterization Skill Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu/Medical Element: Non-elemental Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: By focusing healing chakra into her fingertips, Tifa is able to create a cauterizing burn. When applied to small cuts or broken veins, the burn can seal blood leakage, possibly preventing death from bleed out. This has possible combative applications: taijutsu blows using the fingertips can burn, but it is not a very effective method of harming an opponent. Name: Thunder Hands Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu/Medical Element: Raiton Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: A ninjutsu in which the Tifa focuses the chakra in her hands so that she can create an electric shock able to give a sufficient shock to cause the heart to start beating again in case it stopped. Name: Bolting Thunder Triplets Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Element: Raiton Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: This jutsu involves Tifa summoning two clones of herself. Once summoned, Tifa—along with the clones—start to run around the opponent in a circle with high speed. As they do this, they all charge their fists with electricity while the opponent tries to keep up with which one is the real Tifa, the real one manages to jump up into the air unnoticed (due to the clones taking her spot) and lunges herself at the target, kicking them in the back and towards the clones. As the target is sent towards the clones, all three of them appear above the opponent and all send a blow to the gut. The reason for why it earned its name is because once the opponent smacks into the ground, the ground beneath them shatters and sounds like a clap of thunder. Name: Fluttering Whirl Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Element: Range: Short - Mid Clan: N/A Description: Tifa sends a blow to her foe with her bare strength and a bit of chakra, sending them flying in the air for a mid-length distance; then, she suddenly appears behind them and stops their flight with a roundhouse kick to the face. Name: Shinoku Rock Breaker Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Element: N/A Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: A physical attack Tifa uses by using pure strength and her bare fists, capable of breaking rocks with a powerful yet premeditated strike. Name: Destructive Freesia Punch Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Element: Non-elemental Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: A far more advanced technique than the Shinoku Match Fist. This punch is reinforced by chakra, released with an exact precision so as to deliver an extremely destructive punch to whomever or whatever stands in her way. B Ranked: Name: Lightning Freesia Collision Rank: B Type: Taijutsu Element: Raiton Range: Short Clan: N/A Description: An immense amount of Tifa's chakra, along with lightning, is forced through her, and a moment later all of it is pushed into her fists. Her chakra and lightning is then released into an object, which deals a good amount of damage with whatever it has touched. With the damage done alone with the amount of chakra she puts into it is possible for a very skilled ninja, such as a Sannin or Kage, to place it in their fingertip, though Tifa cannot do that. If a tree or the ground were to be hit, it would shatter into tiny pieces by the shock of lightning and strength alone, which are then scattered like the petals of a flower, deserving the name Lightning Freesia Collision. The technique may seem powerful at the rank she is, though surprisingly, it is not. It's just a combination of her strength alone, chakra, and raiton. (Just an explanation of her mother) Name: Akiyo (means White World) Shinoku Age: 26 Status: Deceased Feudal Lord Family: Suikami Hashikugan (Father/Deceased) Kagumi Hashikugan (Mother/Deceased) Sion Shinoku (Spouse/Deceased) Miyuki "Tifa" Shinoku (Daughter) Akiyo Hashikugan was the Feudal Lord of the Snow Country, taking the hard position after her father, Suikami, had passed away from a serious illness. Akiyo's mother died giving birth to her, and so was raised by her father and his assistants throughout her childhood. She was raised to be prim and proper, and was raised to never learn to become a shinobi; her father was always telling her that it was far too dangerous, and that he wouldn't be able to bare another loss after his wife. Because of his thoughts about shinobi, he never let her out of the house, isolating her from the outside world for most of her childhood. Never did she have much privacy—she was always being watched by his guards— which made her miserable as the years grew on. He had only feared for his daughter's life, and felt as if he were to keep her under full surveillance, nothing bad would happen to her. But not only did he hide her for her own good, but also for the sake of the country's. Rogue ninjas had been after his wife for unknown reasons in the past when she had once breathed air, and had threatened the country by saying that if they were not the ones to shed her blood, then they would be the ones to shed the rich blood of her young. Suikami took this very seriously and to far extremes, never letting his daughter out of sight due to the threat. Akiyo hated her father strongly for what he did to her, never explaining to her why he did what he had done to her freedom. Because of it, she never spoke a single word to him. Suikami was soon diagnosed with an incurable disease after Akiyo turned sixteen years old, though that did not effect her hatred she held towards him. She figured that if he were to pass away, she'd be the Daimyo of the Snow Country. After four, long years of trying to battle against it, his life slipped away from before her, leaving her with the Snow Country in the palm of her hands. Not long after her father's death, Akiyo had met an ANBU member who went by the name Sion Shinoku, falling deeply in love with him. When she was twenty-one, she married him and soon carried his child. Trying to keep the pregnancy a secret, she was kept under full surveillance once again for her and her child's will. Though the threats from years ago were at bay, they still remained cautious about it. Near the due date for their child, Sion was sent on a mission to the Fire Country. A few days before giving birth, Akiyo was given the scroll that announced Sion's death; he had been assassinated by an unknown target. Left to dread in misery of the loss of her beloved, Akiyo gave birth to a baby girl alone. She named her child Miyuki (meaning "beautiful fortune/happiness," "beautiful snow," or "deep snow.") .:New Born Arc:. It all began back to a simple flutter of a heart beat pounding within a newborn's frail chest. A baby girl breathed in quick, startled pants. Under her warm chest, the beats nearly fluttered as fast as a humming bird flapped its wings per second, so flabbergasted by such a new surrounding. Akiyo Shinoku, the brave kunoichi who gave birth to the child, focused her wary blue eyes on the new being; suddenly everything was absolutely clear. A smile broke the hardened shell that expressed agony on her face, a weak laugh brushing off of her pale lips. The little, beautifully rounded head was covered in a thick layer of matted, blonde hair. Underneith the blood, her skin looked like a light, beautiful cream color. All inside her cheeks, it burned with a rosey tint. The eyes of Akiyo glanced at her child's eyes, the smile on her lips suddenly disappearing as she soaked in the image of her only daughter's irises. They were a very unique blue, so beautiful like an ocean. Now she understood what people meant when they said that they felt like they were drowning if they were to stare into her eyes, because she herself just felt as if she got lost within the blue of her daughter's eyes. Akiyo's eyes. The baby's eyes were open, her expression so shocked it was kind of amusing. No words lingered on her tongue; the only audible noise she made were quiet winces. *** Akiyo tried to be the best mother she could, juggling the responsibility of the Country and her own daughter. Unlike her father who imprisoned her as a child, she took her daughter everywhere with her, letting her see the outside world and experience the cold snow. All she wanted was a happy child, not a child who was full of hate like she once was. Miyuki meant everything to Akiyo, she being her first priority besides the Snow Country. She raised her to be very proper and kind to all, to be a fast learner and good listener. Akiyo's assistant, Kikyo, took care of Miyuki when Akiyo couldn't (due to meetings and handling things that involved the country.) Kikyo thought of Miyuki as her own little sister, she only being eighteen when the little girl was brought into the horrid world they lived in. .:Snow's Despair Arc:. The beauty of calm years gently rolled on by, not a threat or harm meddling its care-free ritual. No one would suspect a bad thing to happen, due to the countless years of peace. Not a threat stung the Country, not a cry of harm whimpered. Sadly, all things come to an end, and it was the Snow Country's turn to be flipped over. It was the day that Miyuki turned five years old, the day that shattered her whole. There had been a slight change in the atmosphere, but everyone ignored it, for they were too caught up with watch Miyuki gush about that day. They watched with big eyes, smiling along with her as her little hands tore into her first present—a present from her mother, who in fact wasn't there due to a meeting about the country. As she opened the box, she held up her hand to find a necklace, one that her mother always wore. Putting it around her neck, she looked down and stared at the white, diamond shaped crystal that she held in her palm. Such a beautiful necklace it was. But the beauty of it soon disappeared as the sound of a gurgle erupted the room, Miyuki looking up to see the guard that stood before the door fall forward; lodged into his back was a large shruiken. Her eyes widened, and suddenly, the guards that surrounded her all began to stumble back or forward, blood spewing from their necks. She froze in place as the scene before her played like a movie, her eyes wide and full of fear. The smell of rust perfumed the thick air as blood bathed the floors, almost every guard down on the ground. The sound of frantic footsteps echoed within her small ears, along with the slick sound of katanas being taken out of their holsters and slashing away at flesh. Miyuki screamed loudly, and was roughly snatched back by an unknown person. When she turned around to see who it was, she saw the metal pierce the torso of Kikyo, her grip loosening on Miyuki's shoulders. As she fell forward, the katana was ripped out of her, the ocean-blue eyes of the little girl meeting the gaze of fear; it was like a predator staring into the eye of its prey. A low smirk kissed the man's lips as he held back his arm, launching it forward to shed the blood of the Daimyo's young one. Miyuki closed her eyes and cringed away, not knowing what to do. Fffppp. That was the sound of something appearing before Miyuki, blood splashing onto her face. Her eyes fluttered open to see her mother kneeling down before her, arms wrapped around her tiny body like the protective wings of a guardian angel. And then... Then there was the horrid sight of the long katana jabbing out of her mother's torso. Slowly, the blood dripped off of the katana and smacked onto the floor, forming a tiny puddle. Her small heart pounded heavily within her frail chest as her mother began to puke up excessive amounts of blood, the smell stinging Miyuki's nostrils as she inhaled it. Her mother drastically yelled for someone named Rika to take her away and leave immediately, someone suddenly snatching Miyuki's hand and yanking her out of her mother's arms. She outstretched her free arm towards her mother, her hand trying to grasp her. Miyuki's frail voice screamed for her mother in a bloodcurdling manner, kicking and screaming horridly as she tried to endeavor freedom from Rika's hold. The last thing she saw was her mother mouth three words before the white doors enclosed her view of the bloody battleground. "I love you." .:Placid Arc:. That day of the lurid event that folded led them, Rika and Miyuki, to aboard a train and disappear. It was Rika's job now to protect Miyuki, as she had talked about with Akiyo. If something were to happen, they were to immediately escape to a village known as Kirigakure, The Village Hidden Within the Mist. Like its name, the village is surrounded by a thick mist, with several mountains in the background, making it difficult to find by foreigners; the was a perfect place to stay hidden for a bit. The two were on a train for what seemed like forever, soon relocated onto a boat to cross the seas to reach their new destination. Miyuki remained silent and lifeless the whole trip, but Rika had finally gotten her to speak when she told her that they would be living here for awhile, telling her that she'd need to change her name. When asked what name she wanted, Miyuki had said, "Tif-fah." No reason to why she had chosen it, she just liked the way it sounded. Tifa Shinoku...[I] This village would serve as her new home; [i]The Safe Spot..:Academy Student Arc:. Rika could sense that Tifa had a good head on her shoulders even though she had seen her mother brutally murdered. She was a tough little girl, therefore Rika wanting to make Tifa a shinobi. To blossom from a small bud to a beautiful, brilliant flower. Though Tifa was only six years old at the time, Rika never went easy on her. In her eyes, the more harshly you are trained, the better you will become. When Rika knew Tifa was ready, she enrolled her into Academy school when she turned eight. Tifa soon impressed the teachers there with her skills, knowing more than she should. While other kids were learning the simple jutsu every shinobi knows, the transformation skill, Tifa was learning how to heal. She was shown how to heal by healing a bird's broken wing, and she did it with utter simplicity. As days went by, the bond between the two were inseparable. Rika loved Tifa so dearly, as if she were her own daughter, though Tifa never showed the love and affection back; she forevermore had been sketchy about trust and believing in one since the incident back at home. .: Primrose Arc :. Largely due to her interest in memorizing things and her success with taking quizzes while in the Academy, she had a very keen talent for observation and analyzing. Through this, she was able to easily see through most basic deceptions an opponent may use on her. Because Tifa had focused and put so much time into her studies back from when she was a child, she has a natural affinity for genjutsu, though her only experience with genjutsu is dispelling it. Because of this, she was a huge help during time in the exams. As a genin, Tifa is very experienced with medicine, and takes this area of knowledge very intensely. When Tifa has free time, she is constantly training alone or with Rika; training was the only thing she wants to do, only because she didn't want to be the weakling she once was as a child. There had come a day where she had broke into a fight with a much more skilled shinobi than she because he was being absurd and cruel to a little boy, she ending up with a broken arm and torn muscle. She resolved to better her ninja abilities from that point further once she had healed, wanting to part away from the outside world after what had happened. The only person that could help and endure this was... Rika. Now, Rika was very strong for a woman, very powerful. In Rika's younger days, she was trained harshly and was not allowed to take a break unless she was puking up blood. Now with Tifa being under her training...? Same went to her; no breaks unless she's throwing up blood or missing a limb. The training was unbearable for Tifa—in the beginning, she'd pass out within the first fifteen minutes. But that soon came to a halt when Rika got on her about it and said that only weaklings gave up and passed out. That if Akiyo was around, a weakling of a daughter would not surpass. Rika would only say these negative things to piss off Tifa, knowing her best that she fought better when she was ticked off. One time she had gone far too over the line, and because of it, both she and Tifa discovered that the young genin had somewhat of what Rika calls 'superhuman strength.' After they had handle strength for her and didn't have to worry about it as much anymore, they have now moved onto improving her medical skills. The soothing orange that once blanketed the sky was now invaded by an onyx black color; dim, white stars dotted here and there as they swarmed the nightly sky. The moon was large tonight, its pale yet lonesome light casted a low glow upon the thick forest of the forest edge, making it slightly visible to see. A symphony of crickets clicked, a few rattles of cicadas soon piping in to play along. Tifa was far from Kumogakure's gate, strolling casually through the small forest that was placed before the mountains behind her. A slight change in the air caught Tifa's attention, making her eyes flutter open. She came to a sudden halt, twirling out a kunai and throwing it at a tree, the blade slicing deeply into the Banyan Tree’s trunk. All of a sudden, a figure began to appear right above the kunai, Rika looking down at Tifa with fierce, violet eyes. “Where the hell do you think you’re going?” she barked, her eyes furious. Placing her hands on her hips, the beautiful kunoichi stared at Rika with a dull expression, shrugging slightly. “What’s it look like?” she retorted, her voice stained with annoyance. Rika gritted her teeth, not liking the tone that Tifa had just gave her. She launched her self down to the ground in an attempt to hit Tifa, but she leaped back; the earth beneath Rika crumbled and cracked as she landed, glaring at Tifa. “You do not give me that kind of tone!” Rika shouted, pissed, but flinched back at what Tifa threw back at her. “You’re not my mother!”
Just then Tifa swung her right arm up, three shruikens soaring towards Rika. She took out two kunais and sprinted towards Tifa, blocking each shruiken with the kunais. Slashing the air, she tried to cut Tifa’s face but she leaned back; when that attempt failed Rika swung her leg, and once again Tifa dodged it by stepping to the side. Another kick was thrown, but Tifa stepped to the side and spun, her leg tearing the air with such speed. Rika ducked under her leg and stood up, her eyes widening as she saw Tifa’s leg heading straight towards her face. Rika bent back, her eyes following Tifa’s leg as it swooshed over her, the speed of the kick blowing her hair back. Falling onto her hands, she did a back flip and backed up into a tree, Tifa appearing before her and pulling her arm back; at that second, Rika saw the yellow electricity that sizzled around Tifa’s fist, making her eyes widen. Shit. Tifa snapped her arm forward, Rika pushing off of the tree and ducking under her arm barely, the tree behind her exploding into chunks of thick wood and bits of slivers. A loud, crackling noise boomed throughout the area, like the clap of thunder as the tree combusted into nothing. Rika flipped into the air and threw three kunais at Tifa, landing on the ground. Tifa swiftly stepped to the left and then to the right as the kunais came towards her, blocking the last one with her own kunai. She hopped in front of Rika as their kunais clashed together, the sound of metal shredding echoing in the perimeter. Every move they tried to make was dodged easily; Tifa knew every move and style Rika had, because she had taught her everything she knew. It was fighting fire with fire.
Tifa jumped back, curtly looking down and gasping as her eyes saw the long, red line run across her stomach; Rika had managed to cut her during the process of when they were battling with the kunais. Her eyes narrowed as everything began to get slower, and the noise around her got louder. When she looked up, she could see Rika charging towards her in a slow motion, each step she took booming very loudly within her ears. A... time distortion?! Tifa thought, quickly thinking of what was the cause of it. Poison! Rika did a few hand signs fluidly, two clones poofing beside her. Tifa knew this jutsu very well; it was one of her favorites: Thunder Triplets. This jutsu involved the user summoning two clones of them self. Once summoned, the user—along with the clones—starts to run around the opponent in a circle with high speed. As they do this, they all charge their fists with electricity while the opponent tries to keep up with which one was the real owner, the real one manages to jump up into the air unnoticed (due to the clones taking the owners spot) and lunging them self at the target, kicking them in the back and towards the clones. As the target is sent towards the clones, all three of them appear above the target and all send a blow to the gut. As the clones, along with Rika, start to spin round and round feverishly, they all slashed their kunais at her, thin red lines appearing on Tifa’s arms. She winced and stumbled forward and backward with each slice, falling to the ground from the poison. Her vision began to swerve, the view of blurred feet running round and round over and over again. Tifa closed her eyes, clearing her mind and concentrating very hard as she tried to subdue the poison that ran through her veins, listening intently for a specific sound. And there it was. She heard the slight change in the speed get lighter, one disappearing. Her eyes flashed open and she quickly placed her palms beside her head, swinging her leg up into the air and upper cutting Rika right beneath her jaw. Rika’s head snapped back as she was sent into the air, though Tifa quickly slithered onto her feet and grasped onto her ankle, yanking her back and pounding her in the face with her fist, sending her through a tree. It's trunk snapped in half like a small twig as her back smacked against it, making Tifa smirk. As Rika fell to the ground, Tifa whipped out a poison antidote she had saved and jabbed the small needle into her bicep, ripping it out once all of the medicine was injected into her. Rika rolled backwards and finally came to a stop, her head throbbing from the hit. Blood gushed from her nose heavily, and burn marks flashed across her nose and cheeks from the electricity burning her. As she looked up, she saw Tifa five inches away from her, falling towards her with her right fist pulled back, her left hand outstretched towards her, as she was making precise aiming. Rika quickly rolled to the side right as Tifa punched the ground where she had been just a second ago.
At first, nothing happened for a third of a second, and that's when a earsplitting, thunderous ripping sound exploded from beneath her . Tremendously large cracks sauntered down way ahead of her from beneath her bare clutched fist, gigantic boulders shooting up from the cracks and flying everywhere, crushing and breaking thick banyan trees. Electricity sizzled around the boulders, soon around the trees when the boulders made contact. Her short skirt that had slits on both sides ruffled in the wind, along with her hair as the large boulders flew upward out of the ground from in front of her and were sent sauntering away. The noise lowered as the crack continued to travel further away. With her fist still pressed against the earth and bent over, the leaves from all of the trees swirling around her from the hit, she glaring at Rika with monstrous eyes. Rika stood there, baffled by what had just happened; had Tifa really gotten much stronger then the last time she trained with her? She then stood up, and turned around on her heel to face Rika; taking a step back, Rika’s eyebrows scrunched together as she stared at Tifa, livid with her. What had she done to her? Tifa lifted her foot and leaned forward, disappearing in the wind before Rika’s eyes. Appearing beside her, Tifa swung swiftly and sliced her with a kunai, causing Rika to wince and stumble to the side, her hand gripping her bicep. Tifa began to swirl and dance around Rika in a quick fashion—almost in a way of teasing her—and charged her fists with more electricity. She appeared beside Rika once again and punched her in the gut. As she began to fall back, Tifa swirled around to Rika’s backside and elbowed her in the back, beating her up repeatedly. Back and forth, Rika was slammed and punched around like a rag doll for what seemed like a very long time, but it hadn’t been.
Getting rather bored with doing the same thing, Tifa jumped back, her shoulders slightly heaving from panting, and began to do quick hand signs, her eyes glancing up at Rika. With wide eyes, Tifa’s hands began to slow down, a gasp popping from her mouth. There before her was a beat up and battered log, falling onto the ground right where Rika once had been. Frantically, Tifa’s eyes searched the area, but Rika was nowhere in sight. Just then, Tifa was upper cutted from below and sent flying high into the air. Rika transported behind her, a smirk kissing her bloody lips, and wrapped her arms around Tifa’s torso. She then began to rapidly spin towards the ground, Tifa struggling in Rika’s hold. Before hitting the ground, she suddenly let go and stopped Tifa’s spinning, facing her. As she saw her lift her leg and have it come crashing down towards her, Tifa grinned and snatched out a kunai, holding it up and letting Rika’s leg smash down on it. Tifa, along with Rika, fell to the ground, hearing Rika scream in agony as the kunai was sticking out of her leg on the other side, blood splashing onto the ground. Tifa rolled onto her upper back and put her hands above her shoulders, pushing off and landing onto her feet. She spun around and kicked Rika in the face, sending her through the air. Running next to her, and she cupped her bloody hand around Rika’s throat and slamming her into the ground, the earth beneath her back being pulverized into shards of gravel.
Smirking, Tifa let go of Rika and backed away, watching her with dead eyes, as her body lay there motionless in the small hole she was in. Turning around, Tifa tightly shut her eyes and began to walk away, leaving the woman who took care of her most of her life behind. But she had deserved it; Rika lied to her, her whole life was fed with lies. But that was no where close to why she was leaving her village behind. As she was walking away, she heard something come towards her, a small sigh drifting from her lips. Tifa’s hand snatched her tanto that was attached to the medical pouch along her waste and spun around, swinging her arm lowly forward. Rika swung too, though her kunai did not cut Tifa, for it slashed the Kumogakure symbol on her metal head plate. Blood splashed along Tifa’s face and shoulder as Rika fell into her arms, the tanto shoved deeply into her lower gut. Her chin rested upon Tifa’s shoulder, her pupils shrinking from the unbearable pain that coursed through her body. Raising her free hand, Tifa stroked Rika’s head, her fingers brushing her hair. “I’m sorry…” she whispered soothingly, tears forming within Rika’s eyes. “T-Ti-fa…" choked out with a bit of blood, her eyes starting to feel heavy. Ripping out the tanto from Rika’s torso with a disgusting noise, Tifa began to bend her knees as she lowered herself and Rika to the ground, placing her gently down. “…I…j-just wanted… to pro…tect you…” Rika whispered, weakly raising her bloody hand and placing it along Tifa’s cheek. Her eyes were dull as she stared at Rika’s bloody and beaten face, brushing strands of mint green hair out of her face. She leaned her face into Rika’s hand, closing her eyes. Slowly, her hand began to slide down her face, falling limply onto her stomach, her eyes lids sluggishly closing, her breathing weakening, and before she knew it, her heart stopping.
Opening her eyes, she leaned down and kissed Rika’s forehead softly, whispering to her, “Goodnight…” Stumbling onto her feet with a wounded defeat, Tifa slowly spun around, a murkiness look dwelling within the depths of the dark blues that drifted within her irises. Her feet felt a bit heavy as she entered the shadows that the canopies above provided, stepping from the light and being consumed in the dark. The slight darkness of the forest gave off a peaceful vibe, in an odd way, making Tifa relax a smidgen. A symphony of cicadas sang from all around her, the chirps of a few birds chipping in. Pleasant it was, as so did it clear her mind and allow her to think precisely. Her eyes were closed as she walked, not minding where she was going. Her ears listened intently for any threat, but they were all at bay. Not a harmful intruder was in the perimeter. And so she thought as she walked off, finally coming to a conclusion, a gentle smile touching her bloody lips.
- Spoiler:
Dearness spelled out the world as the transparent rays of sunshine pierced down upon each and every spot along the area. Crystals shimmered the surface of the rushing stream, the lovely sound of the water prancing by. A young imperfect being sat on a frail branch within the higher level of an old Weeping Mulberry Tree, an dull expression plastared upon her flawless face. Listening to the stream beside her, the young Kunoichi had a brief second of rest, until thoughts aroused with her skull, pulsing her of things of the past and what to come. Stirring in a gentle fashion, the platinum blonde girl allowed a fluid sigh erupt from her small diaphragm. Opening her previously shut eyes, a set of twin oceans glanced forward as she stared out upon the world, contemplating her next action as it seemed nothing would allow her a second’s rest. Times were changing; the world was moving ahead, violence came dashing out from all the directs, the future uncertain. A world such as this was comfortable to her, though. Yes, such a world was desirable to a girl such as the blue eyed one who know gazed upon the lush forest, that had unknowingly accommodated her for the past six months, and that was where the problem lied: the moving world held no place for a kunoichi who could not move forward. Crystal blue eyes that were murky and dull as ever watched the unchanging skies, cursing the circumstances of her current self as she began wishing for a new life perhaps. It seemed as if something had always played her cards that were near impossible to beat, and only through sheer will would they ever be beaten; now the embodiment of sheer will, sat above an overly comfortable forest, looking for a clear sky in nothing but thick canopies of leaves as the trees collided together.
Snap! The sudden snap of a twig triggered her mind, the sweet blue eyes gandering towards the direction it came from. Darting out from behind a bush sprinted a small deer, catching her attention lightly. Narrowing her eyes by the slightest bit, she gripped the thin branch beneath her and leaned forward, the branch left unbothered as she slipped off. With the lithe body of a ballerina, the female landed on the tip of her toes without a thud, looking ever so graceful. Her waist-long hair slowly drifted downward, falling against her back as gravity played its part.
Her attention was intruded by a source of chakra, one much different from what had previously stained the area. A source so powerful had been more than enough to convince the blonde haired girl to focus her crystal clear blue eyes upon the ground that was shimmering with emerald green blades that danced in the wind's whispey fingers. Upon the ground was the center of the bizarre chakra, a young male under the protection of black hair viewing the world with silent eyes. Curiousity flared in the eyes of the girl, she calculating strange person before her. Picking up her right foot, she came out from behind a tall and thick tree, walking out into a patch of sunlight.
Her appearance was utterly breath-taking as she was out in the open eye; screaming the words flawless. The young girl's bone structure was aligned perfectly down to every detail, and her eyes weren't just one color, but many. They exploded with an attractive brightness, variations of blues engulfing them; ranging from light blues to even dark blues. She had the soft lips of marble—making her look like a glass doll. With her ethereal self, it was almost as though she could be a puppet with how flawless she looked; everything about her screaming the words embodied perfection. Her face mirrored his, though she held a bored, uninterested look rather then his quiet demeanour. Why would he be here...? She'd have to find out for herself. Keeping a decent distance between the two, she left her hands at her sides to show him that she was not hostile. Curiousity coursed further through her, and she kept her eyes on him, not breaking away from his gaze. One second could end anything, that is, if he tried to do anything. Parting her shelled nude lips to speak, her face lightened up a bit; radiating much differently then the world around, it showed barely any suspicions, yet many hints of kindness. "Suppose I interrupted something," she suggested as she referred to his chasing game with the deer, her words fusing into one wavy, violet melody. As she waited for his reply, a gentle breeze rolled by and motioned her hair lightly in the sun.
