-Character Looks and Personality-

Appearance: Kairin doesn't appear to be anything special at first, looking like a simple pre-teen. His mid-long brown hair always finds a way to be messy, and usually sticks up in spikes around his head. He has simple facial expressions, and is rarely found to be without a straight expression going across his face. If you met Kairin for the first time, you would most likely think of him as being naturally angry, but would later find out that Kairin is simply a calm person who can retain facial expression.

Kairin stands at roughly 115 cm (5"6'), which is taller than most kids his age, however some older Genin do tower over him. Due to his high stature, Kairin was gifted with rather long arms and legs. These helped Kairin with things like building up charka control while he was in the Academy, and getting use to traveling via trees. He has built up muscle in his legs that would allow him to keep up with ninjas of a higher rank while traveling anywhere for a short period of time.

Attire: Everyday Kairin can be found wearing a shirts and pants that are identical to that of the previous. He wears a green short-sleeve shirt that is made up of a strong material, and thus will not easily break. To compliment his shirt, his pants are a dark brownish color, and his pants reach down to his shoes. They are made of a different material that is very comfortable, which prevent tearing while Kairin runs or travels.

Also with his pants and shirt, Kairin wears his forehead protector, and a red bandanna with yellow squares around his neck, but not covering his mouth. The bandanna was given to him by his dad, who told his son [Kairin] that it was a family tradition, and that his [Kairin's father] dad had given it to him, and so forth. For Kairin not to be wearing this is unheard of, some even say he sleeps, and bathes with it on.

Kairin trusts one type of footwear, and one type only, being that of red wooden sandals. They have proven themself to be sturdy, and would be near impossible for Kairin to break unless intentionally doing so. However, the bottom of the shoe is not flat, but is instead near covered with four small lengths of wood that go from one edge to another (similar to Jiraiya's, but four pieces, not two). The small lengths of wood allow for Kairin to get a grip on the ground while running, while not necessarily running on the edge of his shoe.

Personality: Kairin is a pretty straight-forward guy. His aim is to one day become the Hokage by training everyday, and never losing hope. While you may think otherwise at first, Kairin really does care for others, and he feels the best way to care for the village is to run it himself, though he does look up to the current Hokage, and has no intentions of overthrowing anyone.

Kairin, who graduated from the Academy at the age of 11, is one of the brightest in his age group. While he is no super genius, he does take pride in his ability to keep cool and come up with strategies in a matter of roughly 10-25 seconds. In times of struggle, many of his classmates came to him asking for some help, which he gladly accepted.

Kairin generally knows how to keep his cool, even under the most intense pressure. He figures the best way to gain an advantage is to seem like you already have it, and by keeping cool you seem like you're an unstoppable force. However, even though he can stay calm, it might not be like that forever. While under pressure for too long of a time, others can be surprised that he will still remain his normal self, which helps his judgement and fighting skill.

While he can lead to a breakdown mentally, emotionally Kairin has already experienced an event which goes beyond most, if not all other events, losing his mother. From that point forward, Kairin doesn't look back, nor does he let his emotions set him back in his goal of being the Mikukage. The one flaw of this is that if he feels he will lose another one close to him, he will act rash, sometimes act before thinking, thus potentially ruining anything.
