The inuzuka clan breed ninken which inturn are givin to young clan members to become a mean fighting machine, Tho unlike most the inuzuka clan do not let there human's pick there ninken, But rather allow the ninken to pick there human companions, When Kyo was old enough, His family took him to the ninken area, This was were all the ninken played and waited for there partner's to arrive, Upon there arrival many ninken stared at the young boy tho none made there way to him, This made Kyo sad certain that there would be no ninken for him, His parents waited praying for something to happen, Finally they turned to walk away only to see a small puppy bounding toward's the small boy, It was barking happily as it launched itself into his open arm's, His parents removed it from the boy checking the gender, Female, It was then Kyo gave the puppy the name of Toru, From then on the boy and the ninken were inseperable,

Toru is a loving puppy, Tho completly loyal to Kyo, It is incredibly friendly towards those Kyo care's about but in battle can become vicious, The ninken toru is used in kyo's collabaration jutsu,The ninken can sense chakra and someone with unusually dark or evil chakra causes toru to become scared, Usually a lazy dog which sits either within the boy's top or ontop of his head, It allows people to recognise it with one bark, Definatly an attention seeker tho Toru likes that she has a special bond with the young male being able to or seeimngly being able to communicate with him through bark's, Like most dog's it enjoys having its ear's and bellies scratched, Tho unlike most dogs it will not back down if struck, Toru is able to withstand a decent amount of pain thus making her an incredible asset in a battle
