| :: Basic Information :: Name: Jonas Malcolm Charius -- Nicknames: Jonah-kun, JoJo. Gender: Male Zodiac Sign: Snake Birth Date: March 28th -Age: 23 Blood Type: O Weight: 163 lbs Height: 6'2" Rank: Jounin - S Ranked Village: Konohagakure Elemental Affinity Lightning, Fire, Water and Storm :: Character Looks and Personality :: Appearance:Attire:Personality:Jonas is a very stoic young man, who recognizes and detests of the world he lives in. Since he was a kid, he believed that there will be peace, but only though his means. That being said, he only fights if he needs do, not going to a blind rage and attack their foe, like most ninja do. He has complete control of his emotion, and sometimes, over another's, able to manipulate people with ease. Tending to be cantankerous in both manner and speech, Jonas has demonstrated a depth of understanding that would seem to surpass his young age. Jonas owns a large collection of books, watches the news , and reads newspapers. Jonas is also known to be a martial artist, preferring Taijutsu over most forms of fighting arts. He prefers straight hand-to-hand combat, Katana, Bo Staff, and Nunchaku. Jonasu is not religious but isn’t the one to bring others down on their religion, that being a belief at his young age. Oratorically gifted, he has shown the ability to seize and hold the attention of entire crowds of people when he wants to do so. He uses this gift during individual interactions, as well, during which he can gain a desired effect depending on his intention. Over the year he was missing, and living with the small Hotoko family, he has learned to be a bit more open, and will protect those important to him. Also, during his time with his brother and his team, he has learned that teamwork in extremely crucial in a team. He will never let his comrades down and will lay his life on the line. His goal is to create a utopia and become the leader of a new world. :: Character Clan :: Name of Clan: Charius Clan Ability: Honosouran - Fire Control Relationship in Clan: Clan Head-To-Be Character Ability: Unlike most clans who only utilize chakra, otherwise known as the combination of spiritual and physical energies, the Charius utilize Chakra as well as Aura, the Natural energy that exists and can only be collected in Nature itself. Because of this most if not all clans do not have the innate ability to Utilize Aura or control any element to its full extent. However even Aura has its limit. Limited by a specific amount, aura can only be collected and maintained in the human body, it cannon be stored in a seal or item. It also can only be obtained when the body is completely still and immersed in the world around it. Meaning that if the user has rogue thoughts afoot then they will not be able to collect or maintain Aura. This also means that Charius family members tend to be unnaturally calm as anger is known to cause Aura to dissipate from the body. Aura can be used to control the elements and like other clans similar too it the Charius have the innate ability to control Fire. Because of this all Charius are born attuned to the fire element even if they do not possess the element themselves, allowing them to bend it at will as long as they have Aura in their body. Because bending is a taxing task however it takes extreme control and concentration to do so, thus bending is unattainable until the chuunin rank. However the Charius as well as the other seven families found a second way to harness the power of Aura in the form of runes. Creating the Rune Fuuinjutsu style, only a select few are even able to draw Runes, however those that do have the innate ability to create new runes from nothing except a basic whim and need. However Runes cannot be complex because the energy they use is not replenish able with rest. This is why you will never find a rune over D rank, however it is possible to use Runes in a combo for a better result, however this can only be done through training and concentration. All Charius start out with the five basic Runes of the Clan, Detect, Discover, Flash, and Flow. By trials and training they can then earn the other runes of the family, however if a clan member is deemed not worthy of more Runes or deemed not worthy of the runes they wear already, they can and will be stripped of their runes which also in some cases result in the loss of the ability to use Aura. Clan BackgroundThis clan dates back to the start of the Ninja World. Along with Madara Uchiha and Harashirama Senju, there was another person, who’s name is dismissed in history. Her name is Karin Charius, and she was the creator of Aura and mother of the Charius Clan. Karin was once of Hashirama's close friends, and actually offered the idea of making a treaty with the Uchiha Clan. Karin then soon learned that Madara was up to no good, and attempted to tell Hashirama this, but to no avail. Madara then accused her of treachery and she then migrated to the the western mountains of The Fire Country, discovering the ways of aura and fire control. She learned that fire can be as very gentle, but when angered, fire can also cause destruction. She learned of the skills, but this took many years. Knowing that she wasn’t able to re-produce, and have children to teach them to, she instead turned to her brother: Leo Charius. She spent 20 years teaching him the ways of the Aura and Fire-Bending, before finally passing away. Leo trained himself, and along with his wife, began to build the clan. They migrated into the suburban part of Konohagakure, near where Karin trained herself, and dubbed the area “The Forest Of Recollection”, due to its mystical properties. Leo began to work out the clan’s perk, and invite more people into the clan. This is technically not a bloodline limit, but a member not born into a clan has to go through a ceremony to become a Charius. Forest Of RecollectionA small forest located in the back of the clan compound, closest to where the original aura master (Karin) created the clan honed her techniques. Several seals are implanted into the tree, and the spirit of a former guardian is sealed into each one of the seals. Once a clan guardian enters the forest for their training, the seal will activate, and they will have fight several of the former clan guardians in order to achieve their guardian status. The goal is not to win, but to prove yourself to be able to protect, the guardian in-training’s task is usually to protect an object or person. The trees cannot be burned down by one in tune with aura, due to the seals and the guardian's protecting it. Karin's philosophy was that fire can be gentle, but is usually used a destructive force. A Charius member, who isn't in tune with aura at first, must learn to control aura, and learn to contain fire, and use on their target, to destroy one not all. *Note: The name comes from the old guardian spirits being summoned from the seals, or RECALLED (Good enough for you Yakate? xD) Clan Guardian The Clan Guardian is the person in the clan is the one to look over every member of the clan’s well being. He or She must willing to give their life for another clan member, or complete stranger need be.. That being said, they must be specially trained to Guardian Exclusive techniques and fighting styles such as the Shouji Kempo. To become a guardian, he/she has to be the first child, (the second child becomes clan head) of the main family member(s). When an old guardian dies before another guardian child is born, a temporary guardian is made. :: Character Weapons and jutsu :: [ List your weapons in a simple list for basic items. ] [list your jutsu genin C chunin B jonin A] Character History and RP Sample RP Sample: - Spoiler:
Amelia sighed, and nodded. "Oh, I understand. But, even if he doesn't wake up, you should consider it!" She exclaimed, grinning at the girl. "I mean, Jonas is a nice boy, who's charismatic, and everything, but he just doesn't open alot. I don't know why." She said, and she turned his head to his husband, who in turn, turned his the other direction. She turned back to the girl, and nodded. "So, how did you two meet?" She asked, and then looked down at Jonas', who was wincing. She stared down at him for a while, and eventually, his eyes began to open.
"Arghhh.." He groaned. Everything was blurry. It was a minute or so of flailing around (slightly) before everything swam into view. The girl from the park, his mother and father was hovering over him. He sat up and looked around. He was at the Clan Compound. His mother greeted him with a smile while his father, a disapproving nod. He looked at his father, and sighed, turning his head back to his mother.
"So, what happened? How'd you get your ass beat so bad?" His father asked, since his mother was wondering the same, but he knew she wouldn't say anything. Jonas gritted his teeth, and picked at his afro, which was full of grass, pebbles and sand. He sighed, and knew if he didn't say anything, his father would be even more mad. He looked up at his father to speak, but immediately turned back. His father was one of the few people who struck few into the young man, which was hard to do. He began.
He told them of he landed in the middle of the dirt path. How the girl had saved, and a rock dug into his leg. They met the schoolyard bully, EVERYTHING. His mother nodded, and his father sighed. A visible vein was on his head, and he was just ready to burst. "You know, Jonas.." He muttered, taking on a tone he never used before. Jonas must've thought he was happy with him running away and not killing the boy himself, which should have been no problem. He stood up and looked at his father, nodding. His father raised a hand and quickly brought it across Jonas' face.
Amelia gasped. Jonas didn't say a word though. He should've expected it. The Charius Clan was a noble one, and to run away from the lowly commoner, and much less, let some girl of another clan, take their kill. His father kicked his son in the chest, causing him to fall over onto the floor. Jonas kept looking at the ground, not wanting to meet his father's gaze. Emmanuel I just snapped his fingers, and spread open his palm, and there was a roaring flame situating itself there. "Can you do this, failure?" He shouted. "WHAT CAN YOU DO, HUH? Nothing, you weren't born with the fire element, like your brothers and I, you can't even manipulate fire yet. If you even can do it, at least. Man, you're just a stupid failure, no matter how much training you get, you're still weak, Weaker than Akiko, Weaker than Leo, Weaker than Rei, Weaker than Eman! No matter what, you're not even worth the s*** on somebody's shoe, especially if you think you're "creating peace" by running away. You're just useless, give up being a shinobi." His father finished, and then in a puff of smoke and a shroud of embers, he was gone.
Jonas could only wince at every word he said. because everyone of it was true. He kept his head down, tears running down his cheeks. His mother sighed, and decided to leave Jonas, the disgrace of the Charius clan, and the girl alone. Maybe she could comfort him. Because Amelia knew she sure as hell couldn't anymore. She turned and walked into the kitchen, leaving the two.
"He's right.." Jonas' muttered, his confidence shattered. Instead full of pride and such, he sounded like a child. He bit his lip, trying to keep in the tears. This is the second time he cried infront of someone, and it was the same girl too.

| History:
- Arc 1: The Start
23 Years ago, Jonas Malcolm Charius one of the two twins born to Emmanuel Adrian Charius The First, and Amelia Mari Charius. Although he has a twin, he came out first and therefore was chosen as the next clan, when he became 25 years old. Since his brother was already in his Guardian Training with their father, he was training to basic techniques by his mother. She taught him the basic tree climbing, water walking, and the such. It is unknown if he was already ahead of his brother, due to him learning those techniques later, but learning progressively better ones earlier.
At the tender of age of three, his training began. He was taught the basics of the clan, but there was a problem. He was supposed to be clan head, but he didn’t possess the abilities to utilize runes or have the fire element. That being said, he did have the ability to bend the fire, a trait that all Charius have no matter what. From that moment on his father was ready to disband his training from there, his mother insisted that he continued his training, stating that he does have the potential to become clan head. His father, although a bit skeptical at first, decided to continue with his training. Emmanuel I taught Jonas the basics first; everything he would learn in the academy. Jonas thought it was going to be easy, oh, but was he so wrong.
Jonas continued his basic training for two years, learning how to block and fight against bigger foes that him. During those two years, he built speed, endurance, and the such. Somedays, he would beat his dad, only because his dad was very tired from his brother’s training and had a hard time balancing the two. From there it was decided; Jonas’ training was from twelve at night to twelve noon while his brother trained from one noon to twelve at night. Jonas knew that this was going to be hard, so he made sure he slept during the day, preparing himself for the battles and training at night time.
His training was all fighting. He was supposed to be clan head, so he had to know about clan politics and be able to fill out paper work. He was also set up in ‘What if-Scenarios” where he had to act if he was clan head for a day and feel what it was like before he actually did it.
One day, instead of training, his father decided to take him to a Village Council meeting, which all the clan heads were invited to. Jonas and his father walked through the streets of Konoha, Jonas gripping his father’s hand as he traveled through the streets, very frightened. He was only five, so he was scared of course. “F-Father..” Jonas muttered. His father rarely answered him, but instead looked down at him, telling him that he should state his question. Jonas broke into a cold sweat and he sighed, trying to find his words without stuttering. “U-Uh..What’s the council me-meeting like, father?” He asked, his voice turning squeaky. “You’ll see.” His father simply stated, and then soon arrived outside of the Administration Tower.
They arrived in the Council Meeting room and all eyes were on Jonas. Jonas sighed and hid behind his father’s leg. His father took a seat with Jonas standing behind him. Jonas observed the meeting carefully, mentally noting everything that was happening there. Once the meeting was over, he had learned a lot, and what he learned, he was going use to make his father proud.
Arc 2: Clan Head Training Contiunes!
Jonas was taught basic, and high leveled math, learning how to manage the clan funds and such, a task he would have as a clan head. Luckily he was born with a big brain, or else he wouldn’t be able to comprehend any of the things he was taught. At this age, something sparked his revolutionary attitude.
He was taking a stroll through the clan compound, and when he overheard a conversation with his father and another man. Knowing that he is usually supposed to walk away, he couldn’t help it, the conversation sounded interesting. He stood behind the main house and peeped in. It was his father and another clan head, he could tell. He remembered his face from the meeting. “I refuse to send any of my clan members into war! Its stupid, and uncalled for! Use your own clan members or something.” His father shouted. “But it’s the only way to gain peace, once the war is over..” The man said. “Peace!? No such thing! Leave, now!” His father stood up and walked out of the clan house, which startled Jonas, causing him to hide behind the nearest wall. From that day, he wanted revolution in the ninja world; He wanted peace.
For the next weeks, he balanced out home schooling with ninja training. With the little breaks he had, he read up on books, searching up legendary figures such Madara Uchiha, and Hashirama Senju. He studied up on the last four ninja wars. Based on the information, he received, he started to detest the world he is living him, this is what made him hate. Page upon page, only stories of bloodshed. He put the books away in his clan library, and was ready to continue his training.
He often met his father in the middle of the clan’s ground, starting off with close-combat which would usually branch off into long-distance fighting. Jonas seemed to advancing, but not too what his father wanted, which made his father detest him even more. This caused Jonas to be slightly pessimistic, and him and his father would often get into arguments about the ninja world; Jonas often resulting in the winner, making his father detest him even more. Training Put To The Test!
Jonas and his twin brother, Rei, were walking through the clan grounds, Rei, per usual, showering his brother with how his day was. Suddenly, Jonas tensed up, although he was only nine years old, he knew when an enemy was here. He pushed his brother behind and took a stance. A stance he seen his father used, but he was never taught it. He looked up on the roof, and it was an figure, dressed in all black wielding Nunchaku.
It was his father. His father warned him that he would be ambushed, and that was to be his test. He had to disarm his opponent, and take him down. Jonas looked around, searching for a weapon. A broom, that’s all he saw, and he had to make it work. He shot over to it, and grabbed it, spinning it around skillfully before kicking the sweeping part off of it, turning it into a make-shift staff. He set into a stance, and nodded to his brother, simply telling to skedaddle.
Jonas jumped up and swung the staff swiftly at his father’s head. His father, who was too busy being in shock at his son’s speed, was hit in the head and knocked back, almost falling off of the roof. Jonas began to shower his fathers with smacks and whips from the staff. His father smirked, and gripped the staff, snapping it with ease. He then whipped out the nunchaku, and slapped Jonas across the face, sending him spiraling across the roof. Jonas landed into a roll, and decided to keep it straight hand-to-hand, something he excelled at. His foot shot forward, slamming into his father’s stomach, which was rock hard. His father gripped his foot, and swung the boy around, slamming him against the tiles of the roof, smashing them.
He growled in pain, and wiggled out of his father’s grip, rolling over. His face was bleeding, and he was becoming dizzy. He advanced forward, and threw a punch, which his father, as anticipated, caught. Jonas quickly used his other hand, and snatched the nunchaku, throwing them away. He smiled, before falling back out cold.
Arc 3 - A New High
Jonas completed the task. This caused his father to be a lot tougher with him. He learned to two basic clan techniques, and was trained in the Art Of Jeet Kune Do, which was a very complicated fighting style. During the first phase of his training, he was taught to be flexible, and was given the bridge exercise. His father was so pushy, that every time Jonas messed up, he had to go without dinner that night, and go straight to bed. During this exercise, his father would often sit on Jonas’s stomach, often to make him mess up. This helped build muscle, so Jonas supposed it had another meaning.
The second phase, was the practice of motion. Jonas had to learn to stop hits and stop kicks. More precisely, he had to learn to intercept his opponent. This was mastered in the constant bouts between him and his father, and this is the only part he mastered. The third phase to practice the four phases of combat; kicking, punching, trapping and grappling (him only mastering Kicking and Punching) which two about three months each part of the phase. He continued training with his father in the way of Jeet Kune Do, but due to his father’s constant yelling at him, this caused Jonas to be quiet and slightly pessimistic.
His father enrolled him into the academy, partly because he didn’t wanted to see his son, and partly because he wanted him to make something of himself. Jonas managed to go through the academy relatively easily, due to his mom home-school prior, and almost aced every single exam/test. Although, that being said, he scored an impressive 98% on the genin exam, but due to him not knowing genjutsu (only being able to dispel it). He graduated from the academy, none the less, and was given a graduation present; The Chardius Bo-Staff. He is now officialy a genin, and awaits to be placed onto a team.
Arc 4 - Radical
Jonas somehow found himself at Konohagkure Public Park.
Konohagakure Public Park. It was a wonderful place, often filled with the sounds of children having fun and enjoying themselves. It was ever green and several vendors and performers filled the place also. Jonas stood at the entrance, looking into the park. He had not been appointed a team just yet, so he decided to go for a stroll in the park. He didn't plan on playing with the other kids, no, he intended on finding a peaceful place, if it existed, in this park and relax.
Jonas took a deep breath and turned to faced the wall. He gripped the book he was holding, and decided to place it in his pocket; he'll need both hands for what he was about to. His blue eyes flashed and he ran up the wall quickly, gripping the ledge and pulled himself up. Once upward, he shot forward, keeping his balance on the narrow path he took. He then leaped forward, landing on another wall. Utilizing the momentum, he increased his speed, and kept going. He stopped short. There was a large gap. Crap, I doubt I'm gonna make this.. He thought.
He took a step back; he had to try at least. He charged forward, and leaped forward. He groaned as he leaned forward, attempting to grab onto the edge. He missed it completely, and went flying into in the woods. After hitting a couple trees, he landed on a wooden, dust path. "Oh damn.." He just laid there, staring up at the sky.
Jonas closed his eyes, taking in the sunshine. The sweat on his cocoa colored skin glistened, as he took a deep breath. The peace and quiet, he could live like this forever. Suddenly, the quietness that seemed to go on forever, was broken by footsteps. As much as Jonas would like for them to be fading, they only got closer, and he opened his eyes, just staring into the sky.
It was a female. She seemed around his age, and look inexperienced. She was genin, much like him. Jonas was no master shinobi, but he knew when someone was experienced or not. She was a not. He didn't bother focusing his gaze onto her, instead just kept looking up at the sky. Maybe if he didn't move or say anything, she'll go away. She said something to him, but he kept looking up at the sky, not paying her any mind.
Five minutes passed, and she didn't move. She instead just stared down at him, looking concerned. He moved his eyes slightly to the side, looking up at her. She was, actually, very beautiful. She had ash black hair, and lovely eyes. Like crystals. He wasn't the one to judge or like someone based on their looks. If you didn't share his belief, or have any sense, you and Jonas were not going to get along. At all. He sighed, hoping to show that he was fine, and signal her to go away.
No. She just knelt there, staring into his eyes. Almost, peering past him and into his soul. Two unique eyes met each other as he studied her as well.
He rolled over, dust getting caught in his afro. He sat up, and blinked a couple times, staring at the girl, showing no emotion. He sighed, and attempted to stand up, but he seemed to have a problem. His leg thigh was throbbing. He looked down at his left leg, and there was a giant hole in his jeans, followed by a giant gash on his thigh, which was bleeding profusely. He arched his eyebrow and looked around before setting his eyes on a rock, bathed in blood. He must of fell on it when he landed, and he, somehow, didn't notice until now. He fell back onto his butt, and looked down on his cut, placing his hands on the cut as if it would stop the bleeding.
For the first time, he showed emotion. His eyes filled with tears, forgetting that the girl was watching him, and he gritted his teeth, putting his head down. He tried to hide the pain, but he couldn't. For the first time since he was six, he was actually crying..
"Oh crap!!" the girl stumbled from behind him, reaching forward to touch his fingers and get him to let go. Him not budging, practically ignoring her, she took her only other option. She ripped her sleeve off, revealing a toned arm scared with sculpture. Taking the now ruined fabric, she slipped her warm fingers under his legs and smiled at the boy. Her eyes gentle, she mentally willed him to let go and let her tie his leg. While her free hand tugged at his fingers. Jonas winced when she forcefully removed his hands, revealing the gash. He watched as she worked, moving like rapid-fire.
A new determination, she quietly tugged and threaded the cloth around his legs to tie off the bleeding. Fiercly, she knew she was going to win this small battle whether he liked it or not. If her team-boys ever found out she simply walked away from a fellow genin, they'd kill her. "Let go and I'll tie it up till we can get you to the hospital, daredevil."
He looked down at his covered wound and then back at the girl. He then closed his eyes, wiping the tears quickly. "Don't tell anyone what you saw.." He muttered, referring to him crying. He struggled to stand up and groaned. "Sorry Pretty Miss, but I'm not going to the hospital, ma'am. I have to deal with this." He said, his voice laced with defiance. His words were precise, and he spoke with a sense of sophistication. He had to, or his mother would kill him.
She looked into his face with a look of fierce confusion. "What in the hell were you trying to do up there?" she asked him with a voice as clipped as iron and a tongue as sweet as honey. The clash would seem useless and impossible, but her voice carried it with pride.
He just stared at the girl, as she yelled at him. She was somewhat angry, and seemed to genuinely concerned. He still didn't show any emotion, but his blue orbs looked her over a couple times. He then felt something, he didn't know what it was. His cheeks felt hot, and he felt weird. He never had anyone besides his mother and his brother care for him like this. He then did something else, which was rare for him. He smiled. "Thank you for caring for me." He said, bowing his head.
"Ewww! Sifu Hotman is getting his mac on with some girl way outta his league." A voice deepened in man hood came from behind the two. Jonas knew that voice and sighed. It was a bully that harassed him since his Academy days. It was Maru.
Maru was fourteen years old, brown eyes and blond hair which fall back down to his neck. He was shirtless, showing his nicely toned body, and stood about a foot over Jonas. He had his white t-shirt hanging over his shoulder, as he cracked his knuckles. "Hotman, you ain't getting far this time, loser. I don't give a damn if you're hurt, I'm about to erase ya'. All the times you made a fool of me in the academy. Whooo-wie, you gonna get it now."
The girl gracefully hopped to her feet with another mentioning cruel words. She was in the mood for adventure, not some stupid, school yard bully. Her temple pulsed with annoyance as her arms tensed and folded across her blissful chest. Her legs at shoulder length apart, long and confident, she held her ground as the boy made his onslaught.
Jonas gritted his teeth. He was in no condition to fight right now. He stared at Maru; Sapphire meeting his cold brown eyes. "Maybe another day." Jonas muttered, smirking at Maru. For a moment, the girl’s mind was completely on him. It was assessing the pest. He was bigger than her, much bigger. But the saying had always worked before: the bigger they are, the harder they fall...
"I'LL SHOW YOU ANOTHER DAY!" Maru shouted in anger, and shot forward after Jonas. The ground shook which each step the behemoth took.
Jonas groaned, and turned his head back to the girl. "Damn it, I have to protect you now. Great." He knelt down, wincing in pain. "Get on my back." He commanded, not wanting to hear her protest.
With his charge, she stepped forward in front of the wounded boy and held her ground. Fingers slipping into the pouch just under her short, white skirt, the fabric lifted around her wrist slowly. More skin of her gorgeous legs shone with a seductive taste. she felt to the left of her pouch and slipped her finger through the loop of her ninja wire. She hadn't pulled it out, just yet, but taunted the boy.
"Touch him, and I'll slit your throat." she threatened with the ease of past practice. her voice carried along the land to catch a few ears of villagers, but nothing more. It was strong too, simple statement with the strength of hundreds. She was dead serious with what she said.
She just said the wrong thing. He face palmed as he knelt down and gripped his legs, sweeping her off her feet and picking her up as if he was carrying his bride.
Maru stopped in his tracks. "Slit my throat, princess!?" He seemed very angry. He pointed to a scar on his throat. "I'VE HAD MY THROAT SLIT BEFORE! IT AIN'T NOTHING!" He shouted, and his veins began to bulge. He growled and stomped on the ground. Suddenly, a block of earth rose from the earth and shot forward at breakneck speed, ready to tear down Tejina, and Jonas.
She assessed his speed and just as the fresh moment bounded into the palm of her hand, someone grabbed her from behind. In shock she tensed and felt her lightweight body lifted off the ground. surprise engulfed her face. She was totally taken off guard by this. but looking off, her surprise melted into fury. What the heck was he doing to screw her up?
Jonas dove to the side, bring Tejina along with him and into a roll. He looked to his side,, looking down at his shoulder. The block skimmed him and dug into his skin, leaving him with another wound. He sighed, and looked down at Tejina.
"FOOL! YOU WON'T GET FAR!" Maru shouted, and a block of rock appeared under him, and it shot forward, him atop of it.
Jonas took a deep breath, preparing him for the pain he was about to experience. He turned tail, holding onto Tejina tightly. "Hold on tightly!" He shouted, and shot forward down the dust path, Maru on their tail. He kept his gaze infront of him, and locked onto something. A body of water. A POND! He pumped chakra into the soles of his feet and leaped over the pond. He landed into a roll, and shifted Tejina's position, putting her on his shoulders instead.
He had bolted, against a wounded leg, to some point of no return. It was hard to tell which direction they were headed until the scent of fresh water hit her nose, she gripped him tight. Digging her nails into his shoulders purposely. It was sweet being swept off her feet, but at the juiciest moment to take down the opponent with a one shot deal, that was just infuriating. .
She bit her tongue from yelling at him but only got so far to keep the anger she felt from steaming. her heart clenched with a pressure so tight, she was afraid this new pissy-ness was going to send her into cardiac arrest.
Maru floated across the water on the block of earth, grinning. "I'M GONNA GET CHA'!" He shouted.
Jonas winced in pain, and run up the wall of the stairs, instead of taking them, and climbed the ledge. He pulled him and Tejiina up and stood at the park entrance. He looked around, and noticed Maru looking confused. He smirked, and let Tejina down. "He gonna find us, and when he does, its not gonna be pretty." He pointed to the clock tower located in the center of the park. "We're getting to the top."
When at last he let her down after dragging them across a lake, up a climb and down, she stepped back, looked to the clock tower and frowned with frustration. "Why isn't it going to be pretty? He's really just some school ground bully. Why are you embarrassing yourself by running away?" she breathed in a sigh and let out her anger. She had to remain composed. She just had to. Now, with some wacko after them was not the time to flip. Maybe she should just follow his orders quietly. . r maybe not. He wasn't her boss, she was the boss of herself. A sit would always remain, she had no master. She was a daughter of the Manama clan, not a sniveling low slave wiling for every whim and will of a man.
She pinched the bridge of her nose and closed her eyes. She searched the blank wall she desperately needed to remain herself. And then it hit her.
"You've been running from him a while haven't you?" She asked as her eyes searched his. stepping forward, she silently agreed to his plan. Following obediently for the moment. They were headed to the clock tower, she'd at least have the time to figure the boy out. “I coulda killed him, you idiot!” She exclaimed
He just stared at her. When she called him an idiot, memories began to flood into his mind, and his face turned cherry red. "DON'T CALL ME A DAMN IDIOT! JUST BECAUSE I TRY TO REFRAIN FROM FIGHTING DOESN'T MAKE A IDIOT!" He shouted at the girl, and practically everyone in the park looked at him, including Maru. He clenched his fists. "I try to avoid fights if I could, I know I could take that guy down if I could tried. But, I don't want to! DOES THAT MAKE ME AN IDIOT!?" He growled, and turned his back to the girl. "You know what? This is why I don't talk to people." He said, trying to suppress his anger.
A wild look into his eyes snapped and a new wave, suppressed through the years, flooded into his voice. Anger, disappointment, anxiety, pride, fear, it was all there, pouring from him like an erupting volcano. A bomb set and blowing all into Tejina's face. She had no clue what she was dealing with and now, too late, she had realized she had done everything wrong.
'I'm such a heartless blonde....' her thoughts accused as the pressure just under her ribs swelled from the emotion. Her heart pumped hard against her chest as the world collapsed around her feet. He had something different than she had expected. He'd held his own knife to his heart. She heard the blood pumping through her veins and counted the ticks until all hell broke lose.
"Excuse me for trying to end one cycle of hate in this world." Jonas muttered, turning his head to look at Tejina. His blue eyes were filled with anger. "And I thought you were different, I thought you would see why I was running away. But, now I see, you're on those people who think you have to destroy your enemy." He turned to her and looked her dead in the eyes.
"Have fu--" His next words were cut short when a giant, muscular hand gripped his throat and slammed him into a wall.
But then their threat came free, a light in the muck.
From the corner of Tejina’s eye, she saw too late the attack of their school ground bully. He lunged forward and took the wounded boy just out of her reach the moment she attempted to grab him away. Her fingers catching air, she looked up to see what she could do. her mind swirled with conflict. Do nothing, leave, fight, bite. All ideas burst into new ideas and burned through her brain with no resolution in sight. She didn't know what to do...
Maru held the genin against the wall of the entrance, smiling. "I'll let you go, Princess. Me and Hotman got some business to finish?" He smirked and looked at Tejina. "Maybe we'll catch up later." He winked, and then withdrew a kunai from his holster. "To make sure you don't run away again." He stabbed the kunai through the makeshift pressure bandage, and into the gash.
Jonas howled in pain, and tears, almost instantly, began to pour from his eyes. He closed his eyes as he knitted his eyebrows, trying to hold back the tears. He opened an eye and looked over to Tejina, not even bothering to ask for help.
Peeling a kunai out of her pouch she waited till his head went back to the wounded boy before she took her attack.
Scaling the air with grace and the control of a rabid dog, Tejina latched herself to the back of the attacker. Her arms flung strong and gripped his head. Her left arm across his face diagonally to grip the greasy hair her stomach flipped at. Her right arm, gripping the kunai tight, wrapped itself around his throat, the tip threatening to puncture the bare skin. Her legs, like armor, clung around his waste in a death grip so tight, she doubted he had breath.
Her breath deep in hell, eyes like fire, her heart thudded against her chest harder than ever. She could feel the pulse beneath his flesh, she could count the life that bled him dry. His life was in her hands, literally. And against all the fairtale story theories of regret and sour tentsion, she felt freer than ever before. She could take his life. She would take his life.
"I warned you." was all she stated near his ear the moment she latched onto him.
Her wrist, slicker than the Devil's hair, tore back and dragged against flesh. Her elbow felt awkward bending in that position, but awkward felt good at the moment. She felt like a god. She felt like life was at her hands. Blood would splurge, guts to fall, she was all powerful. Everything was a rush.
Jonas' eyes widened as she jumped onto the brute's back. He just lashed out at her and she was helping him. He just stared as Maru tried to throw the girl off his back, but to no avail.
She withdrew a kunai and he already knew what he was going to do. She was going to follow up with her threat. Jonas tried to scream, but the grip was too tight. He couldn't breath. He felt the life draining from him. Everything started to blur. He saw the kunai dig into the boy's flesh, and that moment, Maru looked like the kid he was.
Tejina felt the draining body fight against her for a moment as she slit the life out of it, but soon it begun to fall limp. She let go just at the right moment to step aside and let the body fall to the ground. With a triumphant smile, she looked up to resume their argument with a freshened mind, her red stained hand wiping on her skirt.
Jonas looked past Maru over to Tejina. She killed him, she took his life. He began to lose consciousness, as the grip loosen and he fell to the pavement, out cold.
But victory soon fell cold and dead like the corpse beside her. .
She rushed up to Jonas a couple of steps and skidded against the dirt to the boy. "Hey!" she hollered in his face. "Hey! Wake up!" she patted his face rather forcefully in worry. But it was useless, he was out and dying. Blood leaked down his frame out of his leg beneath her sleeve makeshift and more so out of the kunai pinning him to the wall. A pool was forming around him, red and copper shined. Rust and sea salt filled her nose and she stifled a cough. The stench was a promise she refused to keep.
She stood and tore the kunai out of his arm and threw it behind her with no aim at all. She heard a slick slurp of a sound, it had landed in the corpse. But the matter of the corpse was no where on her mind. What she needed to focus on was getting the kid to the hospital.
She patted his cheek once more, just to be sure of no consciousness. With the fresh wound still throbbing blood, she knew she only had minutes left. She tore off her mini skirt, revealing the spandex beneath, and horridly tide the wound up tight. That done, she then moved to pick him up as carefully as possible. She pulled him onto her back, and off she went headed straight for the hospital.
"Hang on," she mumbled to him. Though it was mostly for reassurance of herself.
Jonas opened his eyes. "Take..me..to my clan house..". He reached into his pocket, fumbling around before pulling out a handkerchief. It was red with a phoenix symbol in black, showing that he was from the Charius clan. "Oh yeah.." He gasped, and smiled. "My name's Jonas. Jonas Charius, sorry for not introducing myself earlier." He muttered before passing out once more. He knew this was a bad idea, but he knew his mother could take of him.
Tejina nodded as she dashed along. Reaching up as she balanced him with one arm on her back, she took the symbolized handkerchief now dripping in his blood and realized why he had looked so familiar. She knew about a lot of the clans around the Leaf Village, even a few around the world, because of her father’s random house parties. She thought she had met one of his leaders before at one of the house parties, but she couldn’t’ be too sure. And at the moment, that wasn’t entirely the point at the moment.
Lucky to be heading the right direction, she took through the twists and turns of the lower village for three minutes of racing before she short cutted through ghettosville and took a left off of her own street. Two minutes later, she was racing into Charius territory. Looking around, it wasn’t too fancy; however she was just glad it wasn’t as run down as other clan and organization sittings in the Leaf Village. She didn’t have the time for any drunken mugger that was for sure.
Stopping to catch her racing breath, she gazed around in slight desperation. She had made it here, nevertheless she wasn’t going to be the mistress of bad news for his family. If he had a family that is. Lots of clan kids were parentless. She knew this herself all too well being without her own Mother. But looking around one last time, there was a woman staring at them from across the street with a bag in her hand. Her face was in the sun, squinting at them as if she was unsure if she recognized them. It was for sure she had no clue who Tejina was, but the boy on her back, trailing their trail with blood, that person she knew out of the two.
Tejina sprinted the few steps across the street, not even bothering to look both ways before she stopped the traffic of food carts and builders. Angry villagers hollered at her, raising their fists and giving rude gestures while others scratched their heads and gawked. It was pretty much every day you saw a dying body dripping blood through the streets in the Ninja World. It would have been no surprise if the girl carrying him hadn’t been headed AWAY from the hospital.
Heart beating at a million miles an hour from stress and the sprint with luggage of a dying body, sweat dripped off her brow and stuck her white and black hair off in all angles. Her clothes stuck to her body from the blood drenching her from before he was tied off. And it seemed the temporary bandages weren’t going to last that long. There goes that high price park outfit. . .
Arc 5 - Disgrace
Looking around, it wasn’t as fancy as her own street; however she was just glad it wasn’t as run down as other clan and organization sittings in the Leaf Village.
The Charius Clan Compound. It was a nice two-block compound located on the southern side of Konoha. Amongst the houses, there was a large one, located in the middle of the houses at the far end of the blocks.
Within the house, was nothing special. A nice dining room with pictures of the main Charius clan members, Jonas being amongst them. Two adults sat at the table, bickering.
One was a dark skinned woman, lovely blue eyes and golden hair, which was wrapped into a bun. She had soft features, and even as she went at it with her husband, she couldn't look mad. Even if she tried. She was clad in black robes, complementing her nice figure. She slapped her bandaged hand against the table, and she growled at her husband, showing that he said the wrong thing. This was Jonas' mother, Amelia Charius.
Jonas' father, Emmanuel Adrian Charius The first. His hair was long and brown, most of it being put into braids. His cold gray eyes stared into his wife's as he sighed. His body was glistening with sweat, which was either from yelling so much with his wife or training. He stood up, and sighed. "He is still a disgrace to the clan. He doesn't have the clan element, he is so peaceful. Blah, Blah. JONAS IS A DISGRACE!" He shouted, and his eyes suddenly widened. He had sensed his son's aura. "Alright, here comes the little failure now."
Amelia only frowned too, she too sensing her son's aura. But something was wrong, Jonas' aura was fading. She got up from her chair and ran onto the deck of the main clan house. She squinted, seeing someone carrying her son in the distance. "Huh?” She raced up to the Charius house, seeing a woman standing at the doorway“Jonas’ family?!” she hollered as loudly as her loud mouth would manage. The weight of Jonas was gaining on her arms and she worried she would drop him soon. She tugged him a bit higher over her shoulders as her head whipped around for any sign of life, any sign of help. In her heart she just prayed someone was home. It would go very bad if nobody was. She was no medical nin.
Amelia, Jonas' mother, could only watch in horror. She was a medic, and she could heal him up no problem. But she had never seen her son so banged up before. Her blue eyes widen, practically the size of dinner plates. Tejina turned her cheek against his, giving it a gentle push. “Everything’s going to be alright,” she told him. Though, mostly it was for her pounding heart. “Just don’t die on me, mkay?” A wicked smile ached her lips as she found a form of irony to her statement. Wouldn’t it be just perfect if he did? Maybe it would treat her with a nice slap in the face, something she’s been needing for years.
She looked over to the girl holding him, smiling down at him. As if..
As if she had done this to him. She wasn't the one to jump to conclusions, so she decided to watch the girl a bit more before walking over to her dying son. Her hand began to glow, chakra slowly coming into vision. She passed a green hand over her son's chest. She looked up at the girl, "He's hanging on." She stated, and couldn't help to smile. She signed. Maybe the girl didn't do this to him, maybe it was some enemy ninja, and if she had anything to do with it. He was going to make sure that he got what was coming to him.
The weight of the boy became too much for her, and so, gently as she could, she laid him face up on the floor. There was no other place offered, and so she did what she could. Kneeling, she pulled his head into her lap, placing a soothing hand to his cheek while his mother fussed and healed him. But she couldn’t' help but smile, he was lucky to have a medic nin as a mother. She was sure it came in handy a lot.
Amelia focused more chakra into her hand, the green aura around her hand blazing at she passed it over her son's thigh a couple times.
She smiled at the wound began to close up quickly, and she held her palm over the wound. Soon, his thigh looked as if nothing had happened. The only thing that was there was the rip in his pants. She looked him over for any more wounds, and didn't find any more serious ones. She smiled, and looked up at the girl, her blue eyes lighting up for some reason. "Are you Jona's friend?" She asked politely. By the way she talked, anyone could tell that Jonas got his manner of speaking from his mother. Her voice was soothing and could have put a goddess to shame.
She clapped his hands together, and smiled, moving her around in joy. "Oh! Jona' never had a friend besides his brothers! You even saved his life! He's gonna be so happy when he wakes up!" She exclaimed.
The woman mentioned brothers, which of course perked her ears up. More boys to toy with? But as far as the relationship as of friendship was going with Jonas, she wasn't too sure whether to test the others. If they were anything like him, she didn't want anything more to deal with. Heavy headed jocks were just enough trouble when all they want is up her skirt.
"Oi, what's the failure doing on the floor." A gruff voice came from behind Amelia, making the woman shiver slightly. It was a her husband, Emmanuel I, and as anyone could already tell, he despised the young charius with a burning passion. No pun intended. He soon arrived at his wife's side, and kicked his son in the head gently.
A strong slender hand lashed out and gripped the boot inches from Jonas' head. Her strong, crystalline eyes meeting his own as the man continued with another comment she wasn't too sure was a compliment.
His mother gave him a glare, and he decided to take a few steps to the side. Emmanuel smirked, and looked over to Jonas' new "friend." He looked her over for a while. She was way too pretty to be his friend. He decided to make this fact be known. "You're way too pretty to be the boy's friend." He muttered, crossing his eyes over his chest as he looked down at the girl.
"I don't know if I am or not," she gazed down at the unconscious Jonas as her hand shoved the father's boot away in a small warning. She'd already killed a boy, she didn't want to add another life today. "It's all up to Jonas."
Tejina listened to the woman, curious as to what she had to say. She seemed like a well fit mother. Soothing, caring, perfect. However, it still brought her pain realizing how clear this woman was, how attracting her own soul was to this woman. Like a magnet, this woman was something she once knew. Strong, caring, kind, pretty even, almost just exactly like her mother. Only, her own mother would never talk that way about her daughter, for Tejina was anything but imperfect in front of her parents.
However, it took all her strength not to break down in tears. This was almsot another harsh reality of what her life was. Richer it may be, but her father was as cold looking, as dreadful. And her mother had been kind and sweet. An opposing pair, but they fit well for the most part, though the daughter could never place a finger why.
Nevertheless, a scuffling pulled her attention to the boy on her lap. He was waking, and rather dramatically than she had expected. Possibly too much action damaged his nervous system to have him flinch like he did? She couldn't tell, she was no medical nin. However, he awoke, but to harsh words.
Tejina's head snapped up the moment the older man's lips brought breath into his god forsaken lungs. Every ounce of her body, deep down to her cells, could feel a tide coming from just the look in his eyes. Things were going to collapse real soon, and as far as the day had been going, she was going to have to get herself and Jonas out of the way.
Flight or fight was always the final decision, practically only decision, in a fearful animals mind. Runaway from the danger, or claw your way out of it. Depending on the situation, either would be best. But being Tejina, for the most part, she would choose to fight. She loved the feeling of a battle. She loved the exhilaration, the adrenaline rush that moved her body into fluid, rough movements. She loved the soreness of an after body to fall and prove to her her worth. She loved the caress of the heart's murmur as you strike out and teach your opponent what you were made of. To put up a fight against death, to prove you were alive and kicking.
His father was one of the few people who struck fear into the young man, which was hard to do. He began.
However, Jonas was invited to tell the tale, and Tejina was curious as to what he would say about their journey. As he rose she helped him with gentle but firm hands gripping his side and shoulder. Never leaving him a moment to fall, if he slipped. Though, as strong as he felt, he didn't feel as if he did. But then she saw his face.
He told them of he landed in the middle of the dirt path. How the girl had saved him, and a rock dug into his leg.
This is the second time he cried in front of someone, and it was the same girl too.
His shoulders were trembling as he fought his tears, but it occured to her how much it would do him good holding them in. Practically none if not for the worst. If you couldn't cry something out, laugh. If you couldn't do either, you were doomed to unhappiness. Precise and simple.
But he wasn't going to stop shaking and staining the floors with his tears. Well, not if Tejina, mistress of feminine comfort, wasn't there. . .
She wrapped her arms around him, pulling his trembling body into hers in a sweet embrace. Her fingers toying with his fro in gentle tugs of comfort as her other hand massaged a small portion of his shoulder blade. Her chin lay upon his fro as his head would fall just above her blossomed chest. Her lips cooed sh's to him, as if to a child, but in an unfamiler tone as if to a man of her heart. She would let himself cry this out. She would let him let it go.
Unfortuantly, he said the wrong two words.
She froze in her stance, her muscles tightened and clenched in every ounce of her flesh. Her heart sped and her pulse raced as her breath froze ice cold in her chest, crating an emotional pressure just below her ribs. He couldnt' be really believeing this could he? He couldnt' have heard those words and seen that failure of a trick and fallen for it, would he? With two dangerous words, he had proved the theory. And she was pissed.
But searching her soul before finding words, this was a different anger than she would have remembered for herself. This was something new, seomthing fresh that longed to make things right in fury instead of to her own bidding. It seemed familer thoug, where had she performed before? It was hard to tell, but there it was, tugging at her soul for revenge. Jonas would see things right whether it killed him or not.
Her tongue hissed words icier than ever before in her head. A colorful language kissing the walls of her mind. Her anger flourished but not at him directly. She was really anger at the father figure, but the boy had fallen for the trap and now has himself caught in the mix. Luckily, though, on the outside, her cool was luke warm.
"Don't listen to that, Jonas," she hal-cooed, half-ordered as she resumed the bodily comfort. "It isn't true, it's all lies. For instant take that dumb old parlor trick he just performed! Hell, my elders could do that in their sleep! That's child's play andnot for the use of those words. And lying to his son. . . Tutut," her locks of white and black bounced around her heart shaped face like petals in the wind as she shook her head. The feather soft strands tickled her skin and it took all she had not to smile in the feeling. "You're not a failure, Jonas. Believe me."
He held back his tears for a while. It was always when something was said to him, they started pouring out.
He knitted his eyebrows, and managed the suppress the tears enough for him to speak. "I know it was a parlor trick, that was the point. Something as easy as that, I cannot do." He said, his voice a little low. No one really cared for him besides his mother, so, he was trying to hold back his shock. He lifted his head up from her chest, and stared into the sky.
"I'm different from the rest." He muttered. "I can't control fire, well, I don't think I can." He said, trying to pick his words carefully. He began to pick at his afro before groaning. He sighed and freed himself from their little cuddle-session and stood up. He crossed his arms, and looked down at sitting beauty for awhile. His blue eyes looked her over, but not in a way he usually did. He was more focused on her features. Her assets. It was obvious that he was checking her out. But, he did it in such a cool way, like he didn't even care.
His eyes went blank. His cheeks flushed. He felt a...stirring inside of him. But he shook it off. He just kept looking at her. Looking at her as if it was going out of style.
He gave words of truth to his heart more than to her as he climbed out of her arms and stood over her. She sat on the floor with her knees curled under her and one arm gingerly tipping the floor. She looked up at him, wondering his thoughts. Wondering what was crossing his mind as he looked at her like a treat for the taking. A common stare she gained from many males she wished to take as her pawns. Maybe she really was winning his heart? But did she really want it?
Like he had said, he was no powerful than any other genin, just a quiet boy with an upside down father. She had the same besides the fact of her clan and her body, they were one in the same. Maybe that was why she held to such words and tipped her head.
Her smile was caked with a sly twist. Like a cat of the devil, she was careful of her words. But honest with them in the same sense.
"Well then," she bluntly stated. "There's only one thing left to do." Her shoulders rolled in an unsolid way, a seduction path that was too natural for her. "Get stronger." Two little words that packed a punch. They were obvious and she knew he already knew that. But maybe just hearing them would spark some form of hope. It was ugly watchinghim torment his own mind with false hopes and lies. One mustn't become inconfidence and fall off the mountain of life. Without a heart, you were a stone. So says the bible.
She casually came to her feet as graceful as any geisha. Her face as clean and respectful as always. She stepped to him and reached to his cheek with a warm palm. Tejina was always one for comfort. "Don't be a stupid boy." she warned carefully. "Don't listen to the lies in your head. Things take time. And whether or not you can perform parlor tricks ornot, you better as hell keep fighting."
With that she leaned forward and kissed his cheek. It was a small peck, but moist with care and kindness of a lover. Practiced all too much it wouldn't surprise her if he thought of that as a sighn of something much more than it really was. And watching his face with a small smile, she wondered if it was a sign she shouldn't have given. He was a sweet boy. He didn't need to be caught up into her plans. Besides, at this point in time, he was still too weak for her armies. Nevertheless, maybe one day he could be a pawn. Or a friend.
She stepped back and reached out her hand for him to take. "Come, the sun's setting. Let's go for a walk"
Arc 6 - Konoha’s Destruction
That walk with Tejina-chan was nice, even if it was a week ago. He laid in his room, and stared out the window. He felt at peace, knowing that he actually had a friend. He could sit alone in his house and think about everything that him and Tejina would do together, and hopefully, he would get more friends. He started out the window, and then a building erupted in smoke. He gasped, and almost fell out his bed. He continue to stare into the village, making sure he saw what he saw. Another building went up in flames, then another, then another, then another!
Jonas slipped on his clothes, and slid open the window and out onto the roof. He jumped onto the clan house next to his, looking down at the Clan compound. The others must’ve still been sleeping, he noted. Jonas went on ahead, trying to survey what had happened exactly. The building were up in flames, and people were scurrying around the village. Suddenly, a loud voice boomed across the village. It was Hodaka Hyuuga, the Hokage, giving everybody their orders. The genin’s orders? Leave. NOW.
Jonas bounced from rooftop to rooftop, eventually until he got to the village gates. He would head to Sunagakure, where his brothers were..
Arc 7 - Family
Jonas traveled for weeks, getting lost several times. He had no idea where he was going, he had never really been outside of the village unless he was with his father.
While traveling in a forest, he was the verge of unconsciousness. His vision blurred as he moved off the grassy path and into a bush. He pressed his back against a tree, and closed his eyes.
He awoke three days later, in a small room. His torso was bandaged up, which was banged up from all the traveling and surviving he did. He looked around in confusion, and his blue orbs landed on his shirt and white beater, which were both torn, his headband, gloves, kunai holster, and tool pouch on a chair. He attempted to slide out of bed, but he was in too much pain. He sighed, and then went "ninja mode" as the door opened up.
A girl, about Jonas' age, walked into the room, holding a med-kit in her hand. She had long blond hair and blue eyes, and she was wearing a sundress. She almost dropped the med kit in her surprise. "Oh you;re awake." She muttered, and walked over to Jonas. She ran a soft hand across his chest, and nodded. "You finally woke up. You've been out since forever." She commented.
Jonas nodded, "Thank you," He said, waiting or the girl to introduce herself. "Aniar, Aniar Hotoko." She said, smiling at Jonas. Jonas nodded and suddenly, passed out once more.
Jonas awoke an hour later, and he slid on his pants. He went outside, and found himself in a small village, about fifty people. He looked around, and then found a large piece of land behind the house he was in. He ran over to it, and saw an old man tugging a plow across the field, panting. "Do you need help, sir?" Jonas asked.
The man simple shook his head. "No, your my guest." He said, smiling weakly at the boy and attempted to the pull the plow before falling over. Jonas caught the man, who was surprisingly light, and carried him over to the deck of the house. With that, he decided to plow the whole field, only out of gratitude.
After he finished, he turned to the see the astonished look of Amiar, her mother and father. They were surprised, and thankful.
In the months, they took Jonas in like family, telling them how what they live in is a poor village due to these bandits that lurk the border of the village, preventing food from being shipped in. Jonas knew this was unjust. Jonas was going to take down these brutes.
Jonas headed for the border of the village, and confronted the men. There were two, each holding a katana. One was large and fat, and most likely struck fear into the town folk. The other one was short and lanky, and would be easy to take out. Jonas withdraw a kunai, and attacked the first man. He added chakra into his weapon, extending the reach of the kunai, and slashed as the man's arm. The man simply limped over in fright, and crawled away from the fight.
The larger one was no push over. He knocked Jonas around, like a rag doll. Jonas was slashed up, and clashed his kunai with the sword. This is all until Jonas heard the man's voice, which was just like his father's. This ignited the fire within the boy, and in rage, Jonas kicked the man into the air. Then, he followed up with a massive pile drive into the ground. This scared the men off, and the village praised him
Jonas lived with the Hotoko family for two years after that, recieving a dagger from them as a gift for beating the terrorists. Mrs. Hotoko sewed him new clothing and then left for Sunagakure.
