Effects: The Akuma clan’s Kekkei Genkai is similar to that of the Inuzuka clan’s Kekkei Genkai, but much more complex. Because the Inuzuka clan originated from the Akuma clan, the effects of the Kekkei Genkai almost mimic each other… almost. The Inuzuka clan’s Kekkei Genkai is not even a Kekkei Genkai, but Secret Clan Jutsu created by the Inuzuka. You could say, however, that their Kekkei Genkai is the ability to talk to dogs. But this isn’t about the Inuzuka – It’s about the Akuma.

The way that the Akuma clan is similar to the Inuzuka clan is that they are animal oriented, and can turn into half of that animal (human-cat, human-bird, etc.). However, the Akuma clan does not focus on dogs: It focuses on Dragons.

For the longest amount of time, Dragons have been the most powerful creatures, about as powerful as the Bijuu. Dragons and Bijuu are mortal enemies, and so the Akuma clan despises Bijuu and Jinchuuriki alike. As seen in the history, the Akuma clan’s Kekkei Genkai was originally given to them by the gods in order to fight off the bijuu. You will also see that it failed, and was enhanced.

Let’s get down to Details. The Akuma clan’s Kekkei Genkai allows them to speak the tongue of Dragons and Lizards, as Dragon’s are part of the Reptilian family. They can speak this not only to Dragons and Lizards, but anyone, even though Reptiles are the only ones that will understand it (other then other Akuma members). The Dragon Tongue is an ancient tongue, made up of many words that now inhabit the ninja language, like “Hitai-Ate” which comes from the word “Hiate” meaning “Symbol”. Some words, however, are made by clicking the tongue, or growling.

However, what the Akuma clan is most famous for is it’s ability to actually transform into a dragon. In order to do this, however, they must unlock their ability to transform, through a lot of training. On the plus side, they can also transform into a Draogn-Human hybrid, which is like a middle rung on a ladder, in which the bottom is human form, and the top is dragon form. Once an Akuma member reaches the top, however, they forever turn into a Dragon.

Let’s review the Kekkei Genkai. The Akuma clan’s Kekkei Genkai allows them to…

Drawbacks: Once an Akuma member has transformed into a Dragon three times, they will perminently become a Dragon.

Stage 1

Uses 10% chakra

Stage one allows the user to transform into a Dragon-Human hybrid. This ranges from just wings, to scales, a long neck, and wings. This allows them to fly, breath fire, and grants them 2x human strength. However, this form constantly drains a small amount of chakra (2%) every time the user posts. (So if you posted 5 times with this form, 10% of your chakra will have depleated plus the 10% needed to use the jutsu, which totals to 20% chakra lost.)

Stage 2
3000 Words to Unlock. Jounin+ may start with this.
Uses 20% chakra

Stage two allows the user to transform into a fully-fledged Dragon. The color of which the dragon is varies on the Chakra nature (Katon: Red; Fuuton: White; Raiton: Yellow; Doton: Brown; Suiton: Blue; Dakuton: Black) This lets the user fly, breath fire, and gain power equal to a Bijuu’s. This drains 5% of your chakra every time you post though. (So if you posted 8 times with this form, 40% of your chakra will have depleted, plus the 20% needed to use the jutsu, which totals to 60% chakra lost.)

Stage 3
Must use Stage 2 Three Times to Achieve this

Stage 3 is more like a curse (though it can be a blessing to some people). When a user turns into a Dragon three times, they will perminently become a Dragon. They will have all the benefits, but cannot speak with humans unless they relearn the human tongue. They will gain large knowledge, but must follow the Dragon’s code not to get involved with human matters (war, invading, plagues, etc.) However, they can help humans if they make a pact with that human. This uses no chakra, as they have known, though they still keep their chakra nature (Red Dragons can make Volcanos; White Dragons can make Tornados; Yellow Dragons can make HUGE Thunder and Lightning Storms; Brown Dragons can create earthquakes; Water Dragons can make Tsunamis; Black Dragons can make tiny black holes which can suck in one person before being destroyed. This is all that dragons can do, as they possess no jutsu.)

Clan History

History: When the Bijuu were first created, ninja had no ways of sealing them away. Thus, the Bijuu rampaged the land, destroying everything in their path. However, they caught the attention of the Gods. In order to stop these Demons, the Gods gave one clan the ability to turn into Dragons. In the past, the Bijuu had been defeated by the Dragons, but then the Dragons seemed to dissapear. Thus, the Bijuu used the opportunity to attack again. However, the clan, known as the Akuma, wouldn’t allow it. They turned into Dragons and attacked the Bijuu. The battle raged long and hard, and they had to turn back into a human every now and then to replenish their chakra.

That’s when one Akuma used the jutsu 3 times. He turns into a full fledged dragon forever! This Akuma’s chakra nature was Doton, so he created a huge earthquake which drew the Bijuu into the earth, sealing them away. The Bijuu escaped, of course, but for the time being they were sealed. The Akuma clan then called this their Kekkei Genkai, and used it in missions, wars, and more.
